When my little girl was born, she was as bald as a coot.  She stayed that way until she was well past three years old.  As a result, she was always dressed in pink, purple or lilac so that other people could see that she was a girl.  I have a stockpile of pink and purple papers as I know that I will always have a picture to scrap with them.  This kit popped out at me as I went through the store looking for kits to review.

Only a small selection of papers, but they are beautifully patterned.  The canvas textured pages have a distressed edge, on some it looks ink-edged and on others it looks sandpapered.  The choice of patterns is varied - a few of them I can imagine as wallpapers in a Victorian Ladies Parlor so the kit is well named.  The colors aren't syrupy sweet and are suitable for a variety of LOs.  I love the splash of green on the dotted paper.  It's an unusual choice bearing in mind the colours and theme of the kit but it goes really well and doesn't look out of place.  The doodled flower edged paper is strong enough to make a LO on its own with a few embellishments.  All in all a very attractive mix of papers.

Elements - The large embellished tag is the stand out element in this kit.  All the elements are appealing, the textures on the ribbons are very lifelike and are used very well in the ribbon cluster.
